What are the typical lead times for custom plastic gear molds shipped to the Czech Republic?

The physical mold steel machining (EDM, CNC, Grinding) requires 25 to 35 days, followed by T1 trial samples. Once the samples are approved by your quality engineering team, bulk parts injection molding and assembly can proceed, with shipping to Prague or Brno hubs taking around 15 days via air freight, or 25-30 days via train.
Why is POM (Polyoxymethylene/Acetal) preferred over PA66 for micro planetary gear teeth?
